Participant LARPs
We invite all LARPs to register with the Blood Games as a Participant LARP. You will be able to set up a Hospitality Tent in which to showcase your Realm, although we require that this be kept in game at all times. You will also be able to have your flags, logos, or banners flown and displayed. If you have special props you’d like to set up, or something you’d like to showcase, contact us to discuss whether we can incorporate it into the Blood Games.
Participant LARPs will be able to register Realms with the Blood Games. Participant LARPs will receive one free event registration to use at their discretion for every 10 competitors that pre-register for the Realm(s) of the Participant LARP. Participant LARPs are encouraged to reward the Blood Games attendees competing for their Realm(s) with a small recognition appropriate to their LARP upon their return home from the Blood Games.
Please contact us at register@thebloodgames.com to set up your registration.
Factions, Houses, and Realms
Competitors in the Blood Games must affiliate themselves with a Realm. They may do so when they register for the Blood Games, when they check in at Logistics, at the Voice’s Reception on Friday night, or during the check-in time period on Saturday morning. If they are undecided, or have no preference, they are automatically affiliated with the Realm of Waxaclajuun.
A Realm can be registered with the Blood Games by the directors of a Participant LARP, or by any group of players registering 25 or more attendees.
Within a Realm, players may register Factions and Houses. A Faction must have at least 5 registered attendees. A House must have at least 12 registered attendees. A character may only be affiliated with one Faction or House. If you are pre-registered as a member of a Faction, you may request 1 crafting component of your choice, to be received at check-in. If you are pre-registered as a member of a House, you may request 1 crafting component of your choice, to be received at check-in, and can use 3 extra CP to purchase skills for your character. You must contact us at least 3 days before the event with your choice of component in order to receive it.
For all inquiries, feel free to contact us at register@thebloodgames.com.

Registration and Cabin Reservations
You have a choice of accommodations during the Blood Games. Ye Olde Commons has bunk spaces in cabins and the tavern flop house. Summer is a great time for camping out, so tenting is also a nice option.
The weekend event fee is $25 if tenting, or $40 if reserving a bunk space. This covers the whole event, but does not include any food or beverages.
Full cabins may be reserved by an appropriate number of players registering, depending on the cabin. Contact us with your cabin preference, and we can let you know whether it is still available, and how many players are needed to reserve it.
Secure your choice by registering for the event here!
Non-Combatant Participants
We welcome non-combatant participants. If you wish to attend the event as a permanent non-combatant, you may declare this at check-in. You will not be issued a Life Token, nor are you allowed hold any Life Tokens at any time during the event. You will be given a distinctive yellow armband to wear, identifying your status. You will be able to participate in the event by roleplaying, and you may participate in any contests that occur within the confines of a Safe Ward. Unless evil prevails, these will likely include the Flying Obelisk tournament, the Bardic Contest, and the Trade Isles Hold'Em tournament. Additionally, as a permanent non-combatant, as long as you are within the confines of a Safe Ward, you are allowed to use any in-game Healing spells, Remedy spells, and Crafting skills your character has.
Underage Participants
You must be at least 14 years old to attend the Blood Games. If you are under 18, you must have a signed waiver form from your legal guardian available at check-in. Furthermore, if you are under 16 years old, you may only participate as a non-combatant.

NPC participation
Although most of the action during the Blood Games will involve player character interaction and competition with each other, no LARP would be complete without the monsters and beasts that plague the player characters, cause general havoc, and carry around treasure for characters to loot. Hence, we have space for NPCs, although it is limited. NPCs attend the Blood Games for free, and receive the 3-meal plan for free.
If you are interested in being an NPC for the Blood Games, contact us at register@thebloodgames.com.
Food
Ye Olde Commons will offer food service during the Blood Games in the form of breakfast and dinner buffet offerings, as well as a la carte snack and beverage items. The 3-meal plan for Saturday breakfast, Saturday dinner, and Sunday breakfast is available at a charge of $20. A la carte items, or individual meals, can be purchased with cash or kitchen cash (available via registration).
Players are of course welcome to also bring their own food, including their own grills for outdoor cooking.
Alcohol
The Blood Games will NOT serve or allow any alcoholic beverages on site.
Vendors
The Blood Games will allow a limited number of vendors to set up tents in a market section on site. This area will be fully in game, and any vendor is expected to participate in the Blood Games as appropriate. Items for sale are limited to gear which is appropriate to character costuming or decorations for a LARP, including clothing, boffer weapons, jewelry, etc. Each vendor will receive a Safe Ward with their registration, which is to be placed on their vending tent.
Vendor registration is $50 for the weekend, or $65 you wish to reserve a bunk space. If you have additional personnel at your vending tent, they must register as any other player.
If you are interested in being a vendor at the Blood Games, contact us at register@thebloodgames.com.

Pets and Weapons
Pets are not allowed at the Blood Games without the express permission of Blood Games officials.
Real weapons, or objects that could be considered weapons, are not allowed at the Blood Games without the express permission of Blood Games officials. This includes, but is not limited to, authentic or replica swords, hunting knives, guns, martial arts weapons such as nun-chucks and similar items. Small knives may be brought on site for utilitarian use while camping, but they must remain at the camp site and should not be carried around.
